
Kailey Turrubiarte grew up in a rural community, Paint Creek, in west TX; she currently calls Denton, TX her home. She holds several degrees, the highest of which is her Master of Science in Nursing, in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program from Texas Woman’s University. She has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center, via the expedited Second Degree Program and graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude, to be a Registered Nurse. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minor in chemistry, and graduated with honors, Cum Laude, from Abilene Christian University.
Kailey is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the Texas Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. She has experience in emergency medicine, trauma, urgent care, primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, physical and regenerative medicine, psychiatric care, orthopedic injections & functional medicine. She has 5 years of experience as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department and Trauma Center with certifications in Basic, Advanced, and Pediatric Life Support as well as Trauma Nursing Core Course. She has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 8 years and holds a certificate in Advanced Injections. She has a well-rounded knowledge base on how the body functions and is open-minded as a practitioner to treat the patient as a unique individual. Her heart resides in holistic wellness and treating patients naturally without using drugs or surgeries.
When Kailey is not serving patients, she spends most of her time with her three young daughters, one of which has special needs. She enjoys arts and crafts, running, being outdoors, and learning about science.
